Kinema Citrus is a Japanese animation studio founded by former Production I.G and Bones staff. The company is based in Suginami, Tokyo, Japan.
In 2019, Kadokawa and Bushiroad each acquired a 31.8% stake in the company, forming a strategic partnership to produce anime IPs. They are known for producing notable series such as Made in Abyss, The Rising of the Shield Hero, Barakamon, and .hack//Quantum.
